United Colours of Benetton - Anti Ads

A little bit behind in posting this project but here it is! In september we were set the project of creating an anti-ad. We started by looking at United Colours of Bennetton and American Apparel adverts which were controversial when they were published. 

Benetton’s extensive advertising campaign was designed by photographer Oliviero Toscani and ran from 1982-2000. Critics of the campaign claimed that it was exploiting the people in some of its adverts, but Benetton said that it was promoting equality and unity and raising awareness of world issues. 

Its a thought provoking campaign which succeeded in causing a reaction from everyone who saw it.
