David Hockney - A Bigger Picture

I went to the current David Hockney exhibition - A Bigger Picture - at the Royal Academy of Art in London this week. We studied his work as part of our Image Making and Manipulation module last year and I really love his work so I was pretty excited to be able to go and see some of it being exhibited. 

It was spread across several rooms, with lots of his work on display. A lot of it was massive scale canvasses which I really loved. I bought a collection of postcards from the giftshop and I had to stop myself from buying the book ‘A Bigger Picture’ as well! 

Anyone who gets the opportunity to go and see his work definitely should!! -
